Nahwitti Lake
Located 26 km (16 mi) west of Port Hardy alongside Holberg Road, Nahwitti Lake offers great wild fishing for trout and salmon, a boat launch and limited camping. There is also a short hiking trail through old-growth spruce forest. |

Georgie Lake
Georgie Lake offers some of the best Cutthroat Trout fishing in the north of Vancouver Island. People engaging in such will have the best luck during June, July, September and October. Visitors will find a boat launch, small campsite and a sandy beach suitable for swimming at this popular site. Located 10 km (6 mi) northwest of Port Hardy, the secondary road off the main road to Holberg leads to the lake.

Kains Lake
This lake offers some of the best Cutthroat Trout fishing in the north of Vancouver Island. Dolly Varden Char can also be found here and best fishing is from April to June and September to October. A boat launch and campsite are available for use. The lake is 14 km (9 mi) west of Port Hardy along Holberg Road.
